Amber jewellery
Amber is a fossil resin from very ancient trees, notably conifers. Its colour ranges from honey yellow to cognac, sometimes almost green or black. The best-known deposits are around the Baltic Sea. Light and warm to the touch, it marks, in the French tradition, the amber wedding anniversary (34 years of marriage).
At Azuline, amber is worn as earrings, bracelets, necklaces and pendants, mainly in rhodium-plated 925 silver, often surrounded by white cubic zirconia, with a few designs in 18-carat gold and gold plating. Being soft, it is sensitive to heat, perfume and alcohol: simply clean it with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Use the filters to refine by type of jewellery, material or price.
