Topaz jewellery
Topaz is a hard and brilliant gemstone. Most commonly colourless in its natural state, it also exists in yellow, pink or blue; the blue shades most widely used in jewellery, London Blue (deep blue) and Swiss Blue (bright blue), are usually obtained by treatment. It is one of the birthstones for November and, in the French tradition, marks the topaz wedding anniversary (44 years of marriage).
