Why recycle your jewelry?
A jewellery item thrown in the trash most often ends up in landfill or incineration, even though the metals that compose it are not biodegradable: they remain in the environment for decades. The good news is that they are also perfectly reusable. Jewelry is often made from materials that can be recycled or upcycled, including:

Unlike many everyday objects, metals retain their properties when recycled. Recycle a jewellery item therefore makes it possible to limit the waste of resources, to reduce the extraction of new raw materials, to avoid that a jewellery item does not end up in a landfill, and to participate in more responsible consumption.

We accept the majority of jewelry containing metal, whether in good condition, worn or broken.

How does recycling work? Azuline ?
Whether you live near our store or on the other side of Europe, you can participate. Two possibilities:
In store
Just bring your jewelry when you visit. We receive them on site and your 10% discount is given to you immediately.
Remotely, everywhere in France and Europe
You don't have a store Azuline near you? You can send us your jewelry by post. The process is deliberately simple:
- Fill out the online form providing your contact details, then print the generated recycling voucher.
- Pack your jewelry in a padded envelope or a small package, preferably protected (pocket, bubble wrap), and slip the printed voucher inside.
- Send it all to the address indicated on your voucher. Shipping costs are your responsibility; We recommend tracked shipping for greater peace of mind.
- Receive your benefit : upon receipt and sorting of your jewelry, we will send you by e-mail and SMS your 10% discount code, usable immediately on our site or in store.
Once collected, the jewelry is sorted according to its composition, then entrusted to professionals specializing in its recovery and recycling. The recovered metals thus continue their life cycle.
And if my jewellery item is gold?
Let's be transparent: our program is not a buyback service. We do not pay for the jewelry you entrust to us, including gold — the only advantage remains the 10% discount on a new purchase.
Gold has a real market value. Except for a very small fragment, you will almost always have an interest in having it appraised and then reselling it directly to a jeweler or a gold buyback specialist: you will get much more than a 10% discount. We still accept small gold items that you do not wish to resell, so that they are not lost.
Why did we launch this program?
At Azuline, we are convinced that a jewellery item should not end up in the trash just because it is broken, outdated or incomplete. We want to encourage a more responsible approach, while rewarding customers who participate.
